Ghostbusters week: Stay Puft Marshmallow Man

Before "Ghostbusters," the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man was simply an advertising icon for Stay Puft Marshmallows. But as soon as Stay Puft crashed through New York City during the climax of the classic comedy, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man officially became a pop culture character.

Viewers will remember that things didn't turn out so well for Mr. Stay Puft at the end of "Ghostbusters," as the 100-foot marshmallow man went kablooey and doused the Ghostbusters -- not to mention a bunch of New Yorkers -- in sticky, melted marshmallow. Despite Stay Puft's eventual disintegration, he remains one of the key figures in the Ghostbusters stable. Here's a look at some Stay Puft collectibles.
