Great. Another HUMP day. Y'know, a H(ungover) U(pset) M(oody) P(issed off) kind of day. Tuesday's dirty boot print is still on your ass and Thursday's ugly mug is staring you in the face. Don't worry folks, CollecTwins has you covered. Friday and Saturday aren't far off, winking with promises of laughter and refreshing adult beverages. Monday is a blurred image in the rear view. This is the perfect time to pause and appreciate some of the more playful characters that have crossed our collective paths.

Marvel's Gambit |
Let's face it, there are a lot of entertaining do-gooders (and bad-doers) in the pop culture world. The Impossible Man has frustrated the Fantastic Four many times over with his cosmic buffoonery; Gambit literally throws playing cards at enemies; and Howard the Duck is, well, Howard the Duck. 'Nuff said there, right? And we haven't even mentioned sarcastic characters like Spider-Man and Deadpool, though we will certainly cover them in future posts (and already have one about Spidey, which you can read
here).
Goofs abound, and it's a good thing, too. How else would we get over HUMP day? Here are three playful goodies you may want to add to your collection.
Fantastic Four #11 (1963)

Fantastic Four #11 (1963) |
Some of the most interesting characters in the pop culture canon originated in the pages of a comic book. And while The Impossible Man may be more peculiar than interesting, his first appearance here in Fantastic Four #11 is exactly what the cover promises it to be -- a great off-beat collectors' item issue.

This gorgeous museum-style statue from Bowen Designs presents the X-Men's card-wielding thief in all his charming glory. Bowen also produced a Gambit mini bust.

Howard the Duck Pop! Vinyl by Funko |
Howard, Marvel's cigar-smoking alien duck, appears in figure form as part of Funko's mega-popular Pop! Vinyl line. And, fitting for the character, this one is also a bobble head.
See y'all tomorrow -- enjoy the rest of your hump day!
