Football by McFarlane: The San Francisco 49ers

OK, we'll readily admit a bias on this one, as your friendly neighborhood CollecTwins are based in the Bay Area and have been fans of the San Francisco 49ers for the better part of 35 years. The team in red and gold has been one of the most awarded and applauded franchises since 1946.

The 49ers earned most of their accolades as "The Team of the '80s," when they won five Super Bowl titles from 1981 to 1994. The Niners have a number players in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, including '80s icons Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, Ronnie Lott and Steve Young. Former 49ers head coach Bill Walsh is still widely considered to be one of the very best to ever coach in the NFL, while quarterback Joe Montana and wide receiver Jerry Rice are held aloft as the top at their respective positions in history. Let's mine for some 49er gold, courtesy of McFarlane Toys.
