Comic book casualties: Hitman

Ennis giveth and Ennis taketh away. We here at CollecTwins are super fans of the incredible writing of Garth Ennis, one of the true comic book icons. His stories are full of originality, the best of dialogue, and unforgettable events. That's true of one of his longer runs, the fantastic Hitman series.
Art by Steve Dillon
Ennis brought mainstream DC an off-the-cuff anti-hero named Tommy Monaghan and shook up the spandex world. But then when the run was up, Ennis took his creation away by killing off Tommy in the series finale. And by all intents and purposes Hitman has been, and seems to be staying, very much dead.
